The Converse All star Hi-top shoes are very comfortable. It feels like I am walking on air. Very nice. I purchased the all black ones. They look very cool and match great with what ever you are wearing. These shoes are a must buy. Converse All The Way.

My 16 year old son will ONLY wear Converse hightops! Now, this is not a fad, because fads only last a few months! He has been wearing Converse since he was a baby! He is meticulous about them for a few months, then, as they become more "worn-in", he personalizes them with sharpies, spraypaint, nail polish, etc...whatever he and his artistic friends can imagine! Then, a birthday or holiday comes along, and voil'a...a new pair of Converse is awaiting the journey into becoming a classic!

i have a pair of chucks in every color and the black/black ones are my favorite. they go with anything and look great on anyone try them for your self they are the most affordable brand name shoes out there

The classic, ubiquitous canvas sneaker - a style icon. The construction isn't what it used to be, which guarantees a new pair every year if not more often; and they have no support and probably never will. In winter, sheepskin insoles will stave off frostbite, because they're thin and not suitable for bad weather. But, nobody buys Converse Chuck Taylors for anything other than style, so we'll keep buying them no matter what, and the sale prices make us happy enough to keep coming back to Famous Footwear.
