I thought the price was on the expensive side. It only cost around $50-60 a year ago. I was also disappointed no deals were offered. I wanted to buy 2 or 3 pairs but you dont have any discounts for this (i.e buy 1 get 1 for 1/2 price, buy 2 get one free, etc.).

I started wearing Alp shoes when I was in H.S. When they stop making those shoes I spent two years trying to find a suitable replacement. When I found the alley cats I was pleased how much they resembled the Alp shoes. I've been buying this type of shoes for over 20 years. Recently I got a new job that requires me to work outdoors. In one school year 10 months I put over 4.7 million steps in to one pair of alley cats. So they are durable. The heal on the outside shows wear which is expected. The top part showed the result of all those steps taken in a year. The shine was still there though and the shoes were exposed to all types of weather. It's getting difficult to buy skechers (alley cats) because the stores I used to get them are closing or they simply stopped carrying the brand. So now I have to travel 25 miles North or 55 miles South to buy them. Good thing Al Gore invented the Internet and I can buy online. Thank you for making quality shoes.
