Worn warriors

I have been buying the Alley cats for over ten years and they are my go-to everyday shoes when I am not in business attire. They are VERY comfortable, GREAT looking and LAST forever. I have foot problems so I wear custom arch supports in mine, even though the arch support is acceptable. I replace them at least yearly, long before they ever wear out. They work as good for walking long distances as they hold up in shop environments. The only issue was when Skechers stopped making the BKS version with the scuffed texture, with diligent searching I have found them. It was getting tough to find my size 8. I bought my last pair from Skechers directly so . . . I HOPE THEY CONTINUE THIS GREAT OFFERING!

I owned a pair of these before and loved them, I bought them originally to wear when riding my bike (read motorcycle) and they were great for that. But also good for hiking, at work (where steel toes aren't required) and anywhere the footing is a bit rugged. Light weight for their construction and wearable all day long (and I weight 300 lbs!). When my 1st pair finally wore out, I couldn't find replacements. But now I found them again and bought 3 pair. I'll be a dotty old man before the last pair wear out. But they don't take polish worth a durn. So I guess I can't wear them to the symphony.

These are great for dress casual. Comfortable and stylish. I returned the first pair because the toe was scuffed (leather peeled off) right out of the box, but there were no questions when I returned them.
