I love this boot. It's totally reliable, I wore them everywhere when I studied abroad; they're the perfect travel shoes. They go with everything, you can wear them to tone down fancy clothing, they're not hot so I've worn them in the summer, but I can really wear them year round. I've worn them to parties and I've worn them hiking.

These boots are great!

I bought these boots last year for the first time, and was so happy to find real lace-up boots that were affordable, came in a great dark brown color (oftentimes I find lighter brown shades, which I'm not a fan of), and were so versatile. I bought them for fall, but quickly found out that they were great in the winter with semi-regular wear, and they lasted me about a full year with super regular wear. The traction on these boots is great, too; I've done some mini-rock climbing in some of the parks by where I live, and I don't feel like I'm going to slip right off.
I just purchased another pair to replace mine after the soles started separating from the shoe, a problem mostly caused by me kicking them off most days, rather than taking them off with a little more care. The only things I noticed when I started wearing the new pair was that they were obviously a lot more sturdy; I broke the others in very well! Regardless, they're still really comfortable, and I think they're really easy to match with different looks.
